It’s More Than a Visit

It’s More Than a Visit – A Lifeline of Love

Every time you step into someone’s home as a Senior Companion, you bring more than just a helping hand—you bring connection, comfort, and dignity. You don’t just assist with errands or keep appointments—you listen, you laugh, and you remind someone that they’re not alone.

Because of you, strangers become friends, days grow brighter, and lives become fuller. You may not always see the ripple effect of your kindness—but know this: every moment you give matters deeply.

Thank you all for being the quiet heroes turning ordinary moments into lasting impact.

Special thanks to Ann Williams for sharing this lovely photo of Carolyn, a caregiver, enjoying a good time with her client and helping him participate at his community event!!

Mother's Day Idea

As we all know, May is a complicated Month for the residence of Michigan. Weather is sporadic, the temperatures shift or jump, emergency layers in the car increase as you move past snow concerns and into rainy season! Instead of being stuck by the uncertainty from the weather, find the activities around you that make going out with a Client or elderly family possible.

To get the ball rolling we found a local event for Mother’s day, check out the details and be free from that uncertainty!

Breakfast in bed might be a classic for Mother’s day, this is year you can try a local event for something new and go out at the Mother’s Day Gift Fair!

Join the DT Market as they host a gift fair under the Market Shed and throughout the Downtown Market parking lot. Shop for unique, hand-made gifts and artisan items including jewelry, candles, decor, kitchen items, books, knick knacks, knitted textiles, and more from 40+ vendors! Enjoy outdoor yard games or sip while you shop! Don’t forget to head inside and pick up a special treat or meal from the Market Hall merchants.
